Thanks for taking the time to read more about me and my brainchild, Forever Styled!
I created this unique company to help business professionals and community influencers discover and embody their authentic style. My vision for launching the Forever Styled brand came into fruition after experiencing my own life-changing closet overhaul under the guidance of Atlanta’s elite mentor/blogger, Lauren LeFevre {Edit by Lauren} that revealed how a lifetime of acquiring stuff had become overwhelming. I call that season my “mid-course correction” which helped me realize my shopping addiction was wearing both my bank account and me down!
Empowered by my entrepreneurial spirit and drive to help others tackle their own wardrobe challenges, I channeled these unhealthy patterns into a more positive outlet. Now I wake up every day feeling blessed to be able to assist my clients across the United States by bringing peace to their daily dressing routine. My signature “S.T.Y.L.E.ish-yet less is more” philosophy encourages:
My southern roots trace from Georgia to Tennessee, where I was born and then raised (listen closely as my accent is still there!). Texas won my heart when I attended Baylor University on a vocal performance scholarship where I studied both music and English. My love for fashion was born out of my passion for musical performance and realizing that making a positive first impression with my wardrobe was vital to enlist respect from audiences.
My sense of style has evolved over time blending the classic base of Coco Chanel to the sophisticated edge of Jane Birken. My fuss-free style and approach works for a casual date night, professional environments and everything in between.
I am an active member of the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce, Austin Bridge Builders Alliance, 4Word {a National organization serving Christian Women Leaders}, Proven Way Ministries, and serve in ministry at Gateway South Church. I adore living in Austin and raising my two children, Jackson and Julia.
I adore anyone who can pull off a rocker edge with a classic base. I love the easy going style of Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston, the bohemian flare of Kate Moss and the prep in Reese Witherspoon’s step. Since I admire the musician world—I have to throw in an appreciation for Carrie Underwood.
Fab'rik Boutique, J.Crew, Nordstrom, Marshalls {I love a good bargain} and online shopping at Gilt Groupe and HauteLook.
I tend to add a leather or animal print accent to many of my outfits. I still adore my port hole rocker-style belt from Banana Republic that I purchased in the 80s! I also love adding a pop of color to my outfits amidst a monochromatic {all one color} base.
Capri pants or spandex pants without my backside covered. I always profess, “TIGHTS ARE NOT PANTS!” I am on a personal mission to reign in this epidemic that is sweeping the nation.
Hello, lovelies! I am genuinely thrilled to become a Junior Stylist at Forever Styled and have the opportunity to style you. A little bit about me, I am an Austin native and attended Saint Gabriel’s Catholic School for elementary and middle school when their doors first opened. My love of fashion has been since I can remember, growing up on shows like What Not to Wear and How Do I Look? I even attempted closet edits for my mom and friends as a sassy 6th grader, grabbing clothes aimlessly and quoting classic Stacy or Clinton remarks like “this dress is shaped like a garbage bag”.
I graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in 3.5 years as a double major in Fashion Merchandising and Communication Studies. During my education there, I spent a lot of time in both majors researching, writing, and speaking about body image and fashion. I worked in different sectors of the fashion industry from wholesale to retail after graduating in December 2016 and discovered an internship with Forever Styled a year later. Jennifer has not only been an amazing trainer in all things fashion and entrepreneurial, but a mentor that has been a huge blessing in my life, especially as a budding adult.
With all that being said, I want to make it clear my dreams to be in the fashion industry were never for the glitz and glamour, but to work with real women in discovering their beauty. I realized at a young age that a beautifully organized closet, streamlined dressing routine, and a flattering look makes a huge impact on your self-esteem – and that is what we provide here at Forever Styled. I want to help YOU dress well on the outside, so you can radiate a newfound, or perhaps rediscovered, confidence on the inside. Because ladies, confidence is the sexiest, most invaluable, and life-changing accessory of them all.
“Self-confidence is the best outfit. Own your style. Rock your life.”
